RF Software QA Engineer job description, responsible for designing, specifying, and writing test cases to validate software functionality and performance, and conducting functional, regression, application, and performance testing to ensure product reliability and quality.
Requirements
- BS in Engineering or related field with at least 3 years of experience, or MS with at least 1 year of experience
- Technical background in high-frequency principles and applications, including RF and microwave electronics, antennas, signal integrity, and EMI/EMC
- Proficiency in programming and scripting languages, particularly Python
- Experience with software testing methodologies, including functional, regression, and performance testing
- Familiarity with computing environments such as Windows, Linux, virtual machines, compute clusters, and cloud platforms
- Experience with EDA/CAE software and analysis tools (Ansys HFSS experience is a plus)
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to create, modify, and maintain complex test scripts
