Job Description
As a Medical Assistant, you are responsible for receiving and preparing patients for medical examinations and treatment. This includes taking vital signs, and medical and social history, assisting the provider with the examination and treatment, and entering clinical data into the electronic health record.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- Graduated from an accredited medical assistant program
- Certified by one of the following: NRCMA, RMA, CMA, NCMA, CCMA
- BLS (Basic Life Support) Certified, or able to be obtained within 3 months of hire
- Ability to work with people (staff, visitors, and clients)
