Program Manager II (Rails)

SWIVEL is seeking a Program Manager II to drive operational excellence and build workstreams to deliver programmatic excellence for customers and business partners. The ideal candidate has a passion for excellence, solid experience in business program management, and a strategic thinking approach.

Requirements

• Expert Program Manager II in a matrixed organization
• Ability to operate with no day-to-day direction or oversight
• Mentor more junior Program Managers
• Effectively explain strategy and higher-level concepts
• Represent the program management team in cross-functional conversations
• Overcome roadblocks and escalate issues effectively
• Demonstrate thought leadership for the program management functional area
• Develop and own communication plans for program status updates
• Create project documentation, including executive level communications
• Define and track metrics such as key quality and performance indicators
• Drive internal and external process improvements
• Collaborate with stakeholders and product owners to define program requirements
• Confidently and constructively challenge priorities or directions of projects as needed
• Create and maintain process flows and procedures
• Create project charters that define objectives, in-scope and out-of-scope items, and estimations of effort by resource type
