Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled DevOps Engineer with deep expertise in AWS and a strong passion for serverless development and AI-driven solutions. As a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer, you will work in a diverse, geographically distributed team of engineers and product owners, helping to evolve Swisscom’s internal AWS platform.
Requirements
- Degree in computer science or equivalent work experience
- 4+ years of hands-on experience with AWS
- Experience with platform testing, unit testing, regression testing, etc
- Python proficiency is mandatory
- Knowledge of best practices in code deployment
- Familiarity with AI services such as Bedrock, SageMaker, and AI Developer Tools
- CDK / CloudFormation is a plus
- Holding one or more of these specific certifications is a plus: AWS Certified Developer - Associate, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate
- Team-oriented, adaptable, with a strong drive for continuous improvement
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Excellent problem-solving skills to develop quick and sound solutions that resolve complex issues
- Experience working in an Agile environment is a plus
- Proficient in English
