Job Description
This RN position is for a supportive Crisis Stabilization Center (SCSC) providing medical assessments, care, and monitoring to clients admitted to the program. Responsibilities include medication coordination, referral of medical services, and documentation in electronic health records. The role requires working in shifts including Saturday and Wednesday, and involves overnight and evening shifts.
Requirements
- Complete screening, assessments and Care of every client.
- Evaluate severity of withdrawal symptoms using established screening tools.
- Coordinate delivery and reception of medications with pharmacy.
- Document all medications received and coordinate management of the meds while client is at SCSC.
- Observe self-administration of medications
- Monitor withdrawal symptoms during detoxification according to established protocols
- Refer for required medical services as appropriate.
- Provide education and consultation to individual clients and/or groups on their health needs.
- Complete timely and accurate documentation on medical services rendered.
- Complete all clinical documentation in EHR.
