Job Description
Southpoint Surgery Center is a new Ambulatory Surgery Center providing high-quality, cost-effective solutions for surgical and related ancillary care for patients. Join our team as a Sterile Processing Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of the Sterile Processing Department.
Requirements
- High School diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent experience
- Completion of Sterile Processing Program from an accredited institution or equivalent clinical experience in SPD
- Certification required for Supervisor position along with 3-5 years of experience in SPD department
- Effective communication skills; both orally and written
- Computer skills needed
- Ability to work with others within a team to ensure quality patient care
- Strong critical thinking skills
