Founding Manager, Software Engineering - AI/ML

We’re building AI that transforms personal injury law—helping attorneys uncover evidence, value cases accurately, and win for their clients. As our Engineering Manager, you won’t just run stand-ups—you’ll architect, code, and scale systems while leading a high-performing team in a fast-moving startup environment.

Requirements

• Build, Lead, and grow a team of 6–10 engineers building document intelligence, case valuation, and legal AI assistants.
• Ship fast—iterate and deliver impactful features that directly improve attorney outcomes.
• Translate complex legal workflows into scalable AI architectures.
• Stay hands-on with LLM fine-tuning, document processing pipelines, and multi-model systems.
• Own product delivery end-to-end—from concept to production.
• Track record of shipping complex technical products at startup speed.
• Deep hands-on experience with LLMs, unstructured data processing, and AI architectures.
• Proven ability to build high-trust, high-performance teams.
• Passion for solving complex professional workflows in high-stakes domains.
• Bachelor’s in CS or related field; 2+ years managing engineering teams.
