Security Engineer

Supernova Technology is seeking a Security Engineer to secure their cloud-based, end-to-end software solution for automating securities-based lending. The role involves application security, secure SDLC, and vulnerability management, working closely with engineering, SRE, and business teams to embed security into build and delivery processes. Requirements

• Perform hands-on web/API penetration tests, validate scanner findings and define remediations aligned with OWASP.
• Integrate and tune SAST/DAST/SCA tools in CI/CD, define pass/fail gates and PR checklists.
• Conduct lightweight threat modeling and security design reviews for new features.
• Manage the full application vulnerability lifecycle with SLAs.
• Participate in incident response, including exploit reproduction and logging.
• Provide evidence for audits, maintain security policies, and support vendor evaluations.
