Job Description
Supermicro is seeking a Sr. Buyer/Planner - Components to manage and optimize their supply chain. This role involves purchasing, planning, and inventory management for new product development and component availability. It focuses on driving strategic vendor relationships, cost savings, and ensuring a stable and efficient supply chain while supporting innovation and product development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Material Management, Manufacturing, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in materials management, procurement, and supply chain operations
- Strong experience in vendor negotiations, supplier management, and inventory control
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
