Job Description
The Medical Director of Quality will oversee clinical quality and competence, ensure compliance with regulations, and improve patient care. They will also work with IT to develop meaningful systems and collaborate with health plans to improve care.
Requirements
- Participate in QAPI Programs
- Ensure compliance with HRSA, CMS, NCQA, The Joint Commission, and other accreditation organizations
- Monitor appropriateness of patient care
- Develop and recommend policies and procedures to improve quality and efficiency
- Collaborate with IT to develop and implement meaningful systems
- Provide coaching and counseling in clinical quality of care
- Analyze and document current and future workflows
- Work with health plans to identify gaps in care and collaborate to improve care
