Job Description
Grand River Foods is a leading food solutions company seeking an experienced Maintenance Millwright for the Weekend shift. The role involves setup, service, clean, maintain and repair all production related equipment, and work in a cold, fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
Requirements
- Valid Millwright license with proof of apprenticeship
- Able to perform routine machine shop practices (lathe & milling machine operations)
- Experience welding stainless steel using TIG and ARC
- Able to troubleshoot and repair, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment and controls
- 2-5 years' industrial mechanical experience, preferably in the food industry
- Problem-solving skills and good communication skills
- Knowledge of appropriate health & safety and environmental regulations
- Adherence to Food Safety Protocols
