Project Engineer I

Project Engineer I manages the on- and off-site execution of daily project requirements and activities, exercises independent judgment and discretion, and ensures high customer satisfaction while balancing project demands and financial goals.

Requirements

• Develops personal intellectual and technical product knowledge
• Produces controls system design drawings and sequence of operations
• Researches and selects control system peripherals and end devices
• Reads and interprets project construction drawings and specifications
• Collaborates with project team to identify additional options for the customer
• Develops and maintains internal project construction schedules
• Manages 3rd party commissioning requirements
• Manages project's material procurement process
• Performs modification of previously produced controls designs
• Generates Operation & Maintenance manuals
• Communicates effectively with project team members
• Manages weekly time allocations to multiple assigned projects
• Practices safe work habits and participates in office safety program
• Attends and completes OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 safety training classes
