Job Description
We're looking for a Casual Surgical Technologist to join our team at Summit Orthopedics. As a Surgical Technologist, you'll be an integral member of the surgical team, providing exceptional patient care and teamwork across our network of five Surgery Centers.
Requirements
- Knowledge of sterile and aseptic technique
- Experience with human anatomy, surgical procedures, and technologies
- Ability to anticipate needs of the surgical team
- Ability to follow standard procedures/protocols
- Ability to verify the presence of correct implants
- Ability to segregate hazardous waste and dispose of it correctly
- Ability to maintain physician preference cards
- Ability to accurately and promptly complete unusual occurrence reporting
- Ability to participate in the evaluation of new supplies and equipment
