We are looking for a Youth and Community Coordinator to lead the day-to-day coordination and delivery of a front-line team of Youth and Community Practitioners operating across Ipswich and the Babergh Districts. The role involves managing staff rotas, providing operational support, and overseeing the delivery of various youth programs.
Requirements
- Manage staff rotas and provide operational support to youth workers, sessional staff, coaches, and volunteers
- Oversee the delivery of open-access sessions, holiday clubs, detached work, school-based activities, and targeted one to one support
- Undertake local needs assessments, develop new projects, and ensure programs support children and young people to set goals, overcome challenges, and access further opportunities
- Manage budgets and resources effectively, ensure accurate data recording, and continuously improve delivery processes
- Empower and support young people through one-to-one and group work sessions, helping them set goals, overcome challenges, and access additional services
