Job Description
Subsplash is seeking a Data Engineer II to join their remote team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and monitoring Extract-Load-Transform (ELT) data pipelines, working with data warehousing and data lake environments, and collaborating with business analysts and product managers to build and verify hypotheses related to business intelligence.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role
- Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and building ETL pipelines
- Extremely comfortable with SQL
- Excellent analytical abilities
- Comfortable with ambiguity in requirements and able to be a self-starter
- Excellence communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
- Experience working with Snowflake or similar data platforms
- Strong knowledge of relational databases and document-oriented databases
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to learn new technologies quickly
