The QA Inspector is responsible for performing in-process and final inspections on manufactured assembled parts. The QA Inspector proactively supports all aspects of STULZ Safety, Quality and Productivity.
Requirements
- Must be able to read a tape measure to 1/8th inch.
- Must be able to follow verbal instructions, written and pictorial instructions.
- Navigates and utilizes SAP to perform essential duties.
- Reads and interprets product drawings to perform inspections.
- Approves incoming materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement inspections
- Approved in-process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement inspections
- Approves finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement inspections.
- Documents inspections results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste.
- Controls and maintains personal inspection equipment to ensure proper use and calibration.
- Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Expected to seek and improve job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.
- Monitors Change Requests/ECN's and related documentation affecting the standards and specifications of product and verifies application to identified products.
- Communicates required adjustments with appropriate departments to resolve documentation, hardware and assembly nonconformance issues.
- Assists ISO Program Coordinator
- Participates in 5S and Continual Improvement efforts.
- Demonstrates safe behaviors and promotes a safe working environment.
- Accomplishes quality and organziations mission by completinbg related tasks as needed.
