Job Description
SIA is seeking a Reliability Integrity Management (RIM) Engineer to contribute to the safety and reliability of advanced nuclear reactor systems. The role involves developing and implementing inspection and monitoring strategies, addressing degradation challenges, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Success is measured by delivering accurate inspection results, implementing effective solutions, and providing innovative guidance.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in inspection, monitoring, or NDE programs within the nuclear industry.
- Hands-on experience with NDE methods (UT, RT, ET, PT, MT) and associated equipment.
- Knowledge of ASME Section XI (Division 1 or 2), related codes, and industry standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Materials, Nuclear, or related Engineering discipline (advanced degree preferred).
