Credit Risk Strategist, Risk Foundations

Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. The Risk Foundations team is responsible for helping design the systems and processes that enable Stripe to manage merchant Credit risk accurately and at scale. As a Strategist on the Risk Foundations team, you will help manage a rapidly growing merchant portfolio by guiding Stripe’s credit strategy and devising growth-friendly solutions that reduce overall credit risk.

Requirements

• 6+ years of relevant professional experience
• Strong technical expertise, including intermediate SQL skills
• Self-starter who can work independently
• Demonstrated curiosity and problem solving mindset
• Passion for tackling complex problems using data
• Decisive, yet open to learning
• Understanding and empathetic to the challenges of setting up a new business
• Analytical: You are passionate about data analysis
