Job Description
Strata Information Group (SIG) is seeking a Banner Financial Aid Consultant to provide implementation support, training, and consulting services to higher education institutions utilizing Ellucian Banner. This role involves analyzing business processes, recommending technological tool utilization, assisting with the Financial Aid year roll, and ensuring compliance with Department of Education requirements. The position requires location-based travel and a commitment to full or part-time work. This position works directly with the Ellucian Banner Financial Aid module.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience within the Higher Education Industry
- 5+ years of experience with Ellucian Banner
- Advanced user proficiency in Banner
- CalGrant expertise
- Experience with CalISIR and CA CDPA
- Experience improving Banner business processes
- Strong understanding of FAFSA
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills
- Travel up to 25%
