Fiction Editor - Storyside Denmark

We're looking for a fiction editor to join Storyside in Denmark. The role involves driving projects from idea to publication, collaborating with authors, external editors, and translators, and ensuring high quality and commercial standards.

Requirements

• Minimum five years of experience with work on a publishing house's editorial department with fiction (Danish and/or translated)
• In-depth knowledge of publishing production - both print and digital publications
• Strong commercial understanding of the book market, nationally and internationally
• Structured and solution-oriented approach to project management and collaboration
• Ability to collaborate across teams and country borders
• Perfectionist approach to language, strong competences in Danish, and fluent English in writing and speech
• Natural curiosity and passion for genre literature
