Job Description
The Billing Support Specialist is responsible for reviewing and analyzing physicians' surgical documentation completion, ensuring proper routing of charge functions, and coordinating work with outsourcing vendors.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- Medical Billing & Coding Certificate
- Three years medical billing related experience in a physician's office
- Excellent expressive communication skills
- Computer literate with knowledge of medical insurance policies, reimbursement and medical terminology
- Experience with Electronic Medical Record system
- Working knowledge of coding requirements
- Highly organized
- Excellent attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Word and Excel
