Job Description
This is a full-time position for a Senior Data Engineer to improve the Data Platform, design and ship reliable data warehouses, and provide coaching to fellow team members. The role involves working with cloud technologies, data analytics, and business decision making. Strong analytical and technical skills are expected.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience with Big Data, Real-time data pipelines, ETL processes, and tools/frameworks like Airflow, spark
- Experience with data platforms capable of handling discovery, observability, quality, and reliability
- Cloud Service environment expertise, GCP at least 3 years
- Experience with third-party behavior analytics tools (Firebase, Moengage, CleverTap)
- Experience with RDBMS and Non-RDBMS datastores
- Excellent SQL skills, 5+ years of experience
- Proficiency in Python, at least 5 years
- Fluency in Tableau/Holistics/Metabase (or other visualization tools)
- Strong understanding of data quality frameworks
- Good understanding of business investment
