Job Description
Stellar Science is looking for experienced C++20/23 Software Engineers. The role involves building reusable, maintainable code for challenging math and physics problems within leading-edge scientific software tools in areas like space situational awareness and directed energy. Applicants should have a BS (or equivalent) and be proficient in C++.
Requirements
- 3+ years of industry experience creating reusable, maintainable code.
- Bachelor's (or equivalent) degree (MS/PhD is desired).
- Proficiency in C++20/23
- Experience with cross-platform development on Linux and Windows
- 3D graphics experience (OpenSceneGraph, OpenGL, WebGL)
- Experience with supercomputing (MPI, OpenMP, threads, GPUs)
- User interface development experience (Qt)
- Continuous integration, Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, CMake experience
- Experience in image processing, imagery analysis, or computer vision is a plus
