An Omni Maintenance Technician is responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining machinery, equipment and systems to ensure efficient operation.
Requirements
- Must be able to weld
- Proficient in comprehending schematics, hydraulics, and pneumatic diagrams, mechanical blueprints, welding, and fabricating skills
- Ability to analyze issues, troubleshoot malfunctions, and find effective solutions
- Prior experience maintaining industrial machinery, preferably shredders or similar heavy-duty equipment
- Must be able to operate maintenance vehicles and equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Experience in three phase and single phase electrical repairs
- Must be able to perform general electrical repairs
- Ability to perform basic welding and fabrication tasks to repair components as needed
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical repairs without direct supervision
- Must have working understanding of programmable logistic controllers
- Ability to thoroughly inspect equipment and identify potential problems before they become major issues
