This internship offers a hands-on experience in electrical engineering at the Steel Dynamics Engineered Bar Products Division, working directly with operators and maintenance teams on equipment and processes. It focuses on both office work and on-site practical application.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology
• Experience with electrical machinery, power distribution, PLCs/automation systems, or power electronics/drives
• Ability to assist with substation reliability and preventative maintenance
• Experience with safety initiatives, labeling, schematic review, and lockout/tagout procedures
