Job Description
Steampunk is a data strategy firm collaborating with clients to create and execute data strategies for mission and business goals. They provide data expertise across various domains including data collection, generation, analysis, visualization, and machine learning. The role focuses on building and developing enterprise-grade data platforms and pipelines using cloud technologies and Agile methodologies.
Requirements
- Ability to hold a position of public trust with the US government.
- 5-7 years industry experience coding commercial software and a passion for solving complex problems.
- 5-7 years direct experience in Data Engineering with experience in tools such as: Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, etc.
- 5-7 years experience in relational SQL and NoSQL databases including Postgres and Cassandra.
- Experience with AWS cloud services (EC2, EMR, RDS, Redshift) and data streaming systems (Storm, Spark-Streaming).
- Experience with message queuing, stream processing, and highly scalable big data data stores.
