Job Description
State Systems, Inc. is seeking a full-time Fire Alarm Technician to install and service commercial fire alarms and low-voltage systems. The role involves performing installations, programming, troubleshooting, and service, following NFPA standards and adhering to company safety policies. Collaboration and communication are key to the position.
Requirements
- Install and program low-voltage fire alarm systems
- Complete fire alarm installations and service projects
- Work within a team of professionals and troubleshoot electrical issues
- Ensure compliance with electrical and fire safety codes
- Work independently when necessary
- Properly maintain and take care of equipment
- Walk and climb ladders to test systems
- Lift 50+ pounds, push 100+ pounds, and pull 100+ pounds
- Must be able to safely climb a ladder and reach a height of 12 - 24 ft.
