The Nutrition Educator is primarily responsible for certifying potential low risk participants to the WIC Program and providing nutrition education and breastfeeding education. The role involves analyzing and interpreting anthropometric, biochemical, dietary and clinical data, and communicating effectively in one or more languages.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in dietetics, food and nutrition or food service management
• Ability to obtain height and weight measurements using standard equipment
• Ability to analyze and interpret anthropometric, biochemical, dietary and clinical data
• Knowledge of WIC program policies and procedures
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing in one or more languages
