The Department of Juvenile Justice is seeking an Accountant IV to prepare and mail out invoices for Detention Cost Share to counties monthly. The position involves recording daily receipts, assigning coding, reviewing coding, generating reconciled reports, and depositing funds.

Requirements

• Knowledge of FLAIR
• Knowledge of State of Florida accounting policies and procedures
• Knowledge of reconciliation procedures
• Skill in communicating effectively with internal and external customers
• Skill in auditing, reviewing, reconciling, or analyzing data for compliance with regulatory requirements
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage completing deadlines
• Ability to multitask and prioritize
• Ability to use sound judgment to identify problems, generate and evaluate alternative solutions, and make recommendations
