Job Description
WVDOH is seeking a Construction Inspector to ensure quality control and contractor compliance on roadway, structure, and bridge construction projects. The role involves daily inspection efforts, coordinate with stakeholders, and document findings for Project Manager review. This position offers the opportunity to impact communities globally.
Requirements
- Coordinate work and inspections with contractor's representative, client personnel and other stakeholders
- Prepare and review reports for Preparation of Entry into Site Manager / Project Wise
- Manages deadlines, priorities, and documentation
- Inspects installation of construction feature, measures dimensions, and calculates quantities
- Reviews plans, specifications, and other materials
