Job Description
StandardAero is seeking a Mechanic I to perform various tasks related to turbine component inspection, welding, blending, machine operation, and data recording. The role involves ensuring quality control, compliance with safety procedures, and collaborating with a team. Emphasis on a safe and learning-based environment is given.
Requirements
- Receipt and identification of components
- Chemical cleaning of components
- Welding of turbine components
- Blending of turbine components
- Operation of various machines/equipment (e.g., EDM, CNC milling machines, surface grinders)
- Recording of results of inspections, tests, control checks, batch/run numbers, work completed
- Performing all tasks in a safe manner
- Observing good human factors principles
