Healthcare Organizational Operations Administrator - Medical Evidence Gathering

We are seeking a Healthcare Organizational Operations Administrator to join our Medical Evidence Gathering Group in Albany, NY. The successful candidate will be responsible for gathering medical evidence for Medicaid disabilities determinations and will have regular contact with applicants, physicians’ offices, hospitals, and other health care providers.

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent
• 3 years of administrative experience
• Professional experience in public health insurance programs
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access)
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
• Experience using electronic data systems, such as eMedNY and NYSOH Back Office
