Middle & Upper School Band Teacher

St. Luke's School seeks a full-time Band Teacher to direct bands and pit orchestra for grades 5-12, with experience in curriculum and pedagogy, and commitment to collaboration and diversity.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years' teaching experience
• Experience working with true beginners and advanced musicians
• Strong knowledge of music curriculum and pedagogy
• Familiarity with Sibelius or Finale music programs
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong cultural competency and commitment to equity and inclusion
• Ability to provide clear and actionable feedback to students
• Desire to continue growing professionally
