Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Physical Education (PE) Teacher who is passionate about health, fitness, and student well-being. This role involves designing and implementing a comprehensive physical education program that fosters students’ physical, social, and emotional growth while promoting teamwork, sportsmanship, and lifelong healthy habits.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, or a related field; teacher certification preferred.
- Experience working with elementary-aged students.
- Strong classroom management skills and commitment to fostering an inclusive, engaging learning environment.
- Passion for promoting lifelong health, fitness, and student well-being.
- Ability to create culturally responsive lessons that support collaboration, movement, and student confidence.
- Strong communication, organization, and lesson-planning skills.
- Alignment with St. Louis Voices Academy’s mission to develop students' agency through media arts, storytelling, and whole-child development.
