Social Services Visitation Monitor - Part Time

This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. The Supervised Visitation/Exchange Supervisor is responsible to provide a safe and nurturing environment within the St. Cloud Area Family YMCA, while supervised visitations and exchanges take place.

Requirements

• Must have the ability to establish and maintain neutral relationships with parents and the children that participate in the Supervised Visitation and Exchange Program.
• Interacts with all program participants and staff in a professional, courteous, and friendly manner.
• Maintains line-of-sight while supervising and observing family interactions, intervenes when necessary, and provides parenting guidance/education during visits and exchanges.
• Documents all interactions for all visits and exchanges that are assigned in an unbiased fashion; completes documentation in a timely manner; Completes documentation to the expectation of the SVSE program.
• Provides classroom-based Parenting Enrichment classes as assigned.
• Understands and maintains a very high level of confidentiality concerning clients and their cases.
• Must have a flexible schedule with availability to work in the evening and 4 weekend days a month to meet the corresponding needs of the SVSE program.
