Job Description
SSOE is seeking a Structural Engineer to join our growing structural team. The ideal candidate will have experience with BIM software, structural analysis and design software, and structural analysis, design, and detailing of various structures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s Degree preferred)
- Minimum 7 yrs of experience with analysis and design of structural steel and concrete structures of significant complexity utilizing structural analysis & design software RISA and Revit
- Good working knowledge of Building Codes and standards (e.g. IBC, ASCE7 etc.) as well as AISC & ACI Materials Codes & other referenced standards
- Strong desire to develop new designs / technology
- Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills
- Self-starter and goal oriented
- Attention to details and strong sense of responsibility
