Job Description
Senior HVAC Mechanical Engineer will perform detailed mechanical HVAC engineering design for various building projects, including transportation hubs, aviation facilities, and educational institutions. The role involves performing precise HVAC load calculations, referencing international codes and standards, and utilizing industry-standard HVAC analysis software and spreadsheet calculation tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related
- Minimum of 9 years' professional mechanical engineering experience focusing on HVAC design for buildings
- Thorough knowledge of International Mechanical Code (IMC), NFPA standards for fire and life safety, and ASHRAE standards
- Proficiency in Revit BIM software for HVAC systems modeling
- Proven experience performing load calculations and system selections validated via recognized engineering calculation methods
- Demonstrated ability to communicate fluently and professionally in English, both written and verbal
- Experience working within rigorous quality assurance workflows, including design reviews, coordination meetings, and construction administration
- Proven ability to mentor engineers and technical staff, fostering knowledge transfer and technical rigor within the team
