Production Assembler I responsible for assembling and testing production for the aviation industry with focus on maintaining the highest quality, safety and on time-delivery of goods to customers.
Requirements
- Follow safe work practices and procedures and ensure a “safety first” culture in every task undertaken.
- Prepares to complete each assembly work order specifically according to technical work instructions and specifications, CAD drawings and other engineering blueprints, wiring diagrams, standard operations procedure, proper hand and power tools and PPE.
- Assist engineering with prototype builds.
- Assist engineering with resolving assembly complications.
- Discern quality of parts and materials used in production.
- Document assemblies by completing production and quality forms.
- Test finished products for proper operation.
- Maintain the tools used to create products.
- Work with Quality Control on maintenance of calibrated equipment.
- Keep a clean and well-maintained workspace.
