Job Description
Spruce Street Compliance is seeking a Compliance Manager to oversee the financial management of client portfolios for a firm supporting progressive causes. The role involves day-to-day operations, financial activities, compliance, and client collaboration, reporting to a Compliance Director and President. The firm provides support to organizations nationwide, including political and non-profit clients.
Requirements
- Manage client-related daily operations and financial activity
- Oversee a team of Associates with income record-keeping and accounting files
- Process disbursements and track outstanding invoices
- Assist Compliance Director in budget management and cash flow tracking
- On-boarding/off-boarding client staff
- Process client payroll and 1099s
- Perform bank reconciliations
- Prepare and file campaign finance reports
- Maintain compliance with GAAP
- Oversee compliance correspondence
- Assist Compliance Director with procurement
- Maintain vendor relationships
