Dietary Aide (Nutritional Services) - Per Diem

The Dietary Aide will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the department, including tray assembly, proper portioning, and assisting with tray delivery. This role requires adherence to sanitation and food safety guidelines and the ability to operate a cash register.

Requirements

• Follow department procedure for tray assembly
• Utilize weights and measures to assure proper portioning
• Assist on tray line and delivers trays to patients
• Follow all sanitation and food safety guidelines
• Wash dishes
• Coordinate area to ensures timeliness of duties
• Operate cash register when working in the cafeteria
• Assist in the training of new staff members
• Attends department specific in-service programs and mandatory hospital wide programs
