Cardiac Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant (Cardiopulmonary) - FT/80

The Cardiac Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant (Cardiopulmonary) role requires a qualified healthcare professional with clinical knowledge and experience in Cardiology and Cardiac Stress testing. This position involves performing cardiac stress tests, providing patient care, and collaborating with referring providers to ensure appropriate testing procedures. Responsibilities include pre/post-test assessment, documentation, and post-test monitoring with acute care.

Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) OR Master of Science and Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C)
• Two (2) years’ experience in an expanded healthcare provider role
• Experience in cardiology
• Current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) license
• Certification as a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner (CNP) (preferred)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Competency in department software programs, Electronic Medical Record (EMR), and Microsoft Office suite
• Ability to work independently and as a team member
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop strong patient relationships
• Ability to adapt to changing patient needs and medical technologies
• Ability to make sound clinical decisions
• Strong attention to detail and problem solving
