Job Description
Mentors are matched with InclusiveU students for in-class support and navigating student life on campus. This position requires a high school diploma, flexible schedule, and professional communication skills.
Requirements
- Implements Staff Actions Plans for Community Habilitation services
- Demonstrates positive examples in dress, communication, social behaviors, and healthy decision making
- Learns to communicate effectively with the student, develops rapport, and relationship of trust
- Respects each student’s choices and needs
- Maintains positive relationships with the student, their natural supports, and other staff
- Immediately reports incidents of abuse, neglect or other reportable issues
- Attends all Springbrook required trainings
- Documents service delivery contemporaneously using agency software only
- Adheres to schedule determined by the student, is prompt, reports major schedule changes via Sling
