Job Description
Join Southwest Power Pool (SPP) as a Settlements Analyst Intern and gain hands-on experience in a real-world energy market environment. As a Settlement Analyst Intern, you will support daily market and transmission settlement activities, assist with settlement runs, and contribute to special projects.
Requirements
- College student entering senior year in Accounting, Finance, Business, Computer Science, IT, or a related field
- 3.0 GPA or higher
- Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong analytical, financial, and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with SQL, SAS, Groovy, Java, Linux, Tableau, Oracle, or MongoDB a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong teamwork, interpersonal, and customer-focused mindset
- Basic understanding of business applications and databases
