The Cyber Security Analyst will perform real-time event and incident management processes for SOC, analyze internal security incidents, and escalate to Level 2 analysts for response. This role involves monitoring security events, investigating incidents, and maintaining documentation of security actions. The analyst will also assist with security controls implementation and training.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Cyber Security Analyst or in a similar role.
- Ability to work on a flexible, rotational 24x7x365 schedule.
- Knowledge of security principles, standards, and methodologies.
- Familiarity with security tools and technologies (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS).
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, Linux and Windows infrastructures and basic network security architecture concepts
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH, GSEC) are desired.
