Senior Backend Engineer, AI Serving (Node)

Speechify is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join their AI team. The ideal candidate will have experience shipping Node.js services, operating critical production services, and working with public cloud environments. The role involves deploying and operating the core ML inference workloads for their AI Voices serving pipeline.

Requirements

• Experience shipping Node.js services written in Typescript
• Experience being responsible for the successful operation of a critical production service
• Experience with public cloud environments, GCP preferred
• Experience with Infrastructure such as Code, Docker, and containerized deployments
