Job Description
The Surgical Technologist maintains responsibility for preparation of the surgical suite, intraoperative handling of instruments, maintenance of the sterile field, and evaluation of changing conditions during the surgical procedures, making appropriate responses as needed. The role requires maintaining knowledge of surgical procedures and principles related to those procedures, and may serve as a Preceptor.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree or equivalent
- Successful Completion of an Accredited School of Surgical Technology
- Surgical Technologist Experience (Clinical rotations do count as experience)
- AHA OR ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 Days of hire
