Speech Language Pathologist PRN position available at Grosse Pointe Hospital, MI. The Speech-Language Pathologist is an independent health care professional who provides individualized patient care that assesses and treats speech, language, social communication, cognitive communication, voice, fluency and swallowing disorders in children and adults.
Requirements
- Master's Degree, Certificate of Clinical Competence (ASHA) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), ASHA
- Experience in adult/children neurological speech and language disorders, evaluation and treatment, including aphasia, apraxia, dysarthria, dysphagia, laryngectomy, stuttering, and voice disorders.
- Experience with head and neck cancer, tracheostomies, cognition, TBI, dementia, and modified barium swallow studies.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence, America Speech-Language-Hearing Association, (required) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
- Licensure in Speech Pathology-Michigan (required) or temporary license during the CFY (required)
