Requirements

• Apply scientific knowledge / therapy to practical clinical problems of respiratory care.
• Perform a wide range of procedures related to the care of patients with general and specialized respiratory-related needs of various age groups.
• Assess effectiveness of treatment and accurately document according to department and legal/regulatory standards.
• Perform advanced evaluation, management and therapeutic procedures (interventions) for patients requiring respiratory assistance.
• Accurate and timely completion of all necessary documentation and billing.
• Instruct and train other respiratory care staff, nursing and other medical personnel and students regarding patient needs and respiratory care services.
