Requirements
- Welcoming patients
- Preparing patients for treatment
- Sterilizing instruments
- Assisting with 4-handed dentistry
- Oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Scheduling appointments
- Maintaining accurate records
- Payment procedures
- Active Maryland Radiology licence
- Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
- Understanding of health & safety regulations
- High school diploma
- Certificate from an accredited dental assistant program (if required)
