Capital Projects Manager

Space Center Houston is seeking a full-time Capital Projects Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of exhibition construction projects. Responsibilities include managing project budgets, conducting inspections, and collaborating with architects, general contractors, and vendors.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in architecture, project management, construction management, or design
• 5-7 years of project management experience in construction, industrial design, architecture, or exhibitions
• Proven experience with capital projects in museums, cultural institutions, or similar environments
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and Adobe PDF
• Experience with Vectorworks, Airtable (or similar project management platforms)
• Procore experience preferred
• Experience creating and implementing project management plans
• Ability to set priorities, manage workload, and attain goals
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• High level of interpersonal maturity, self-awareness and sound judgment
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
